Choosing a Pediatrician:
Start by talking with your family and friends who do they use, how comfortable are they with their choice and why. Is this location convenient for you both home and work? Does the office accept your insurance? Are they taking new patients? Ask if the practice offers getting to know you visits which should be free to see if you and the doctor click. Not everyone has the same parenting philosophy so find out if the doctor supports your style. Observe the doctor with the child, how do they interact, you want a doctor that both you and child will be comfortable with to build a trusting relationship.
